What can be the maximum resolution I can play Battlefield 3
What can be maximum resolution you can Battlefield 3 on Direct X 11. I have a Radeon HD 5850 1Gb graphic card. The card is nice, but when I play I am not happy which the resolution I got. I am looking for an explanation on getting the highest resolution. I tired lots of graphic properties but still some parts are blurry. The game does not look what I was expecting. Someone told me to update the graphic card drivers to make it work, but that does not worked. I modified the settings of graphic card to higher which left with black screen. That is really irritating. I left it like that and then tired back again with other settings. What others are getting output on this game. I need help to figure out the maximum settings her.e

Basically your graphic properties will adjust the screen size automatically. There is no need to modify that. Sometime the game itself adjust to the best looking ratio. You can do a bit manipulation with the display properties and when the maximum limit exceeds the screen goes black. In that case you can just try the minimal settings. For an 22inch led 1600 something lies the maximum resolution. Remember that the higher resolution you set the more system needs the resources to run the game. If you have a good gpu but poor processor then you will not find the exact quality what you was expecting. So it is better recommended that you must let the game adjust the settings. Second in the video option of game, you get some pre-defined settings. You can choose one of that and set it. If the screen is blank do not apply those.

Sometime for getting a high resolution you might need to turn of some services like Shadow's and AA. Sometime even texture also needs to stop to make the performance better. Crossfire cards are best for such full resolution gameplay.

An resolution is an digital display which is the measure of image quality you see on your screen. The number of pixels in an image is thus related to its resolution. So even if you have a gpu which gives high resolution but not the exact monitor to match the preferences the quality is degraded. So in that case it really does not work out. Sometime we get confused with the pixel quality of the game where you mis-configured the game settings. The total number of pixels depends on the file size in Megabytes, while changing the resolution has no effect on the disk spaces.

If you have a enough big monitor and you are not getting a high resolution then that can be due to outdated drivers. Get a fresh driver updates and check back. Sometime to get better output users do overclock their graphic card. That is an bit risk y business but works sometime for heavy graphic games. In your case, you had not mentioned the maximum resolution you are getting right now. Go the ATi control center and modify settings as per your need. It is possible to restore the old settings in case of any kind of errors. Ati also released some updates for the control center which gives you a better support for more newer resolution settings. Download a fresh update for the same and then try back.
