What your opinion on Football Manager 2012 Match Engine
I have just installed the Football Manager 2012 game on mine system and for myself i believe it’s great, and absolutely the best SI has done. What is people’s opinion on this?

Obviously, they have not spent a lot of time with it yet, but so far that looks very similar to FM11 for me. Has some of the same characteristics (again goal kick header for front approaching, the headings of the front right tend to loop over the bar, many of the objectives of the corner and very few direct free kicks , that sort of thing). I had no major complaints with the ME is still well in general I can say. The 3D viewer is a little easier, however, but that is for things of note for me.

I really, really like. First time in years have seen a match engine looks almost perfect "the box", as in the rest of the game. It is largely based on a 12. All changes have been more or less related to improve 3D experience rather than changing the manager and player AI.

Re: What your opinion on Football Manager 2012 Match Engine
I think it's better to have occurred in recent years. My only real complaint, other than that scabies is mentioned a few posts above, is that still seems to be the issue of forwards missing easy opportunities for a great distance and time again. Towards the end of my city of Bristol had a preseason game against my 18 years on a fair for the team to have an easy victory, getting the moral, and enter the season on a high. Nicky Maynard, who had been in great shape in a friendly earlier, had 11 shots on goal in that game, including 7 cases clear cut. Write anything, hit the target once and missed the goal by more than six dollars every time another one. Actually it would be a player in great form suddenly loses those times when a great distance in an easy game?

I have not played many games in the demo, but I've been a little worried about the amount of goals from corners and indirect free kicks. I have not changed any of the options for parts of my game, but four of my six goals have come from set pieces. Have you had a problem with too many objectives of these situations, or I was just lucky in my few games?

I have not had much success outside of set pieces even if we are only talking about 4 of the 6 that is hardly a large sample. Give more time and see if it continues. I had a stop again in fm 10 when my first 7 goals this season were penalties, but then I did not have penalties for the rest of the season. It's just random times. Maybe you have players who are good at set pieces; maybe the teams he has played so far are bad in defending set-pieces.

Re: What your opinion on Football Manager 2012 Match Engine
In FM11 score from direct free kicks I think it is necessary to understand the trends in the ME. I'm still experimenting with FM12 but it seems similar. It seems that the ball travels through the ME is not so similar to real life situation. It is normal that a player of his right leg and pull if you are on the left side is on the court, so that curves from right to left. But the problem is the game rarely lets the ball go over the wall and under the bar. So most of the goals come from completely curl the ball around the wall on the outside. That means you need to get bass player left, next to kick free throws left and right footed player to kick free kick on the right. I've had reasonable success with this configuration. But really, this is just the game engine adaptation and does not experience very realistic free throw. I really think the direct free kicks are handled should be addressed and corrected to reflect how it works in real football. In FM players are able to bend the ball both in the horizontal plane, but are not capable of vertical loop at best.

I think that this year marks a record for the fewest number of complaints about ME! I guess because they were so refined 11.3 no reason to have any complaints. I love the setting if you have put into this year with extra animations. I would also echo the comments of scabies however, although it is too early to say ... My extreme, especially, have a weak tendency to produce shots that go wide in a one on one with the goalkeeper, but again I've only been managing the squad for a couple of weeks so it could be due to players in question. Actually there is no point in criticizing me up I've put the whole season, I guess.

I think what people have to remember when analyzing a demo of the match engine is as follows: In most cases just completed (or are still continuing) long-FM11 save. We have our tactics to perfection. Mixed team tactics and familiarity are perfect and the team (hopefully!) works as expected. After jumping to a demo, and suddenly, players are not doing as directed. You cannot really base an ME in that until you've played a number of games.

Flaws FM 12 that irritate me, often my defenders clear the ball for a corner instead of hitting out towards the margin for a throw in. I'm playing a solo front 451 and often my head the ball in any direction body to the field as well. Is it better in FM12 demo? As a direct free kick, the only thing that gets me some goals and always looks dangerous is the player with "hits free throws with power." With the hope that SI improves the direct free kick to be more like real life.

I love the new head cam! For my part, the camera angle could change more often, or even be able to set custom views for each situation (see Touchline for the corners, behind the corner to see goal kicks, etc..) Objectively Behind is good, but I think when you are using in your opinion, should play automatically switch to the network was the goal, rather than having to manually otherwise. It's still a nice view though. Other topics of mine: defenders in front of a front through 1v1 with the keeper of a goal kick, I've never seen this happen in football today, however, seems to happen almost all the games on FM. Players cannot use his body "shield" an opponent of the ball to the ball out of a goal kick or throw, resulting in defending the ball wildly hacking away. Players cannot make fast, start a counter attack, free. In the EPL, I see this happen most games, a player is fouled, the whistle is beat, and FK is taken before the player can fouled up from the earth (one or two seconds after the beep ). In FM, the team always expects everyone to get in position before taking the shot, even with the tempo of max. Short corners could use some work. As it is now, we can only have one player is not enough to get the ball, leaving him and the institution of CK isolated from the rest of the team. Upon receiving the ball, the player who "went short" will throw out the bottom line where it will be closed by the nearest defender. This happens maybe 3 to 5 short corners. However, I have used the short corner for some games in FM12, so it's really not a fair assessment. Any defensive player may play time goes first identify when receiving the ball in the air as a result of an opposition free kick, goal kick, or opposition to the front of the ball field. Defenders Only experts should be able to do this consistently.

Re: What your opinion on Football Manager 2012 Match Engine
To be honest I really do not maintain as nearly all the changes were related to things such as animation and other components in the hood. I tend to keep these records updated AI changes, but other than attenuating responsible for handling outside his area there was really no. Our main aim was to improve FM2012 3D element while working on long-term things I will not see daylight until next year at the earliest. When I heard we would be receiving 11.3 of the match engine again, I decided not to bother with the game this year. Not that I hated the match engine 11.3. It just bothered me pay for the new game with no improvement in the match engine. However, after playing the demo, I've changed my mind enough. Improvements in the animations are just so strong that it feels like a much improved experience.
