If you are thinking to run this game on Integrated graphics of Intel 3000 Sandy Bridge processor then It is not possible for you because this hardware hardware is not supported by the game.

You can run the Oil Rush game on Intel Sandy bridge drivers because several required functions are require to run the oil rush game and I think all those required function are supported by the Sandy Bridge drivers but the performance you will achieve is not really good because the processor is too fast for the lowest setting as 640x480.

I have recently bought the oil rush game and tried running it with Intel graphics and really the performance is very slow and it get crash when I tried running it with high graphics. I have also tried with low graphics but I have achieve 15-20fps at 640x 400 resolution with lowest details so I think its not really worth to play this game with Intel graphics.

I am running Linux OS on my computer and I have tried running the oil rush game on Linux computer with Intel HD 3000 GPU. with this hardware I achieve 15 fps in the main menu with 1024 x 768 resolution and lowest setting but the problem is every model is seems to be either just black or rendered as a black squares with this resolution.

You will achieve very slow performance while running the oil rush game with Intel Graphics and I think this is because of the kernel problem. I am running 3.0 kernel and technically the game is very slow like 2 fps and also most of the polygons are black but I think you will definitely get great performance if you running kernel 3.2 or even with the 3.1 kernel because there have been nice improvement in the latest kernel regarding Intel sandy bridge graphics.

I have Apple 13” MacBook pro and I have recently bought the Oil Rush game. Previously I didn’t have any information about the Macbook pro with Intel HD 3000 GPU but when I play the games on my system then the game runs pretty well on my 13” macbook pro. Now I would like to share this information with you that my system consist of i5 2.3 GhZ , Intel 3000 GPU and I am running OSX Lion and with this configuration I got the following results while playing the game on Macbook pro
I got 16 fps with high resolution at 1280x800 and I got 23 fps with medium resolution at 1280x800 having medium graphics, medium effects and medium textures.

I have tried running oil rush game on Linux Computer with Intel HD 3000 graphics and got 15 fps but when I tried running this game on windows using the Direct X on the same hardware I have achieved reasonable performance as 20-30 fps. Now I think the Linux Drivers is a problem for Intel HD 3000 because the Linux Intel drivers are really bad as compare to the Windows.
